The chain type mud scraper is mainly used to scrape and remove the
sediment at the bottom of the horizontal (rectangular)
sedimentation tank, especially the sedimentation tank, oil
separator, primary sedimentation tank and other rectangular tanks
in the sewage treatment project. It can also skim the floating oil
and scum on the liquid surface. The chain type mud scraper has
simple structure, one machine is multi-purpose, convenient
installation, operation and maintenance, safe and reliable
operation, etc.
Structural Composition
The chain plate skimmer, sand scraper, mud scraper and slag skimmer
are mainly composed of the deceleration drive device fixed on the
ground, the traction chain with scraper set in the pool, the drive
sprocket pair, the tensioning device and the safety protection
device.
Working Principle
The decelerating drive device of the chain plate type mud scraper
transmits the power to the drag chain through the chain wheel pair
to drive the scraper to rotate directionally and continuously along
the upper and lower guide rails of the pool. During the operation,
the scraper scrapes the sand on the pool floor and the oil sludge
on the pool surface to the sludge collecting tank and the slag
discharge pipe to discharge them out of the pool.
