Measuring Principle
1) Magnetic method (F Probe)
Magnetic Induction (Fe): Measuring the thickness of Non-magnetic
coating on magnetic metal substrate, such as aluminum, chromium,
copper, zinc, rubber, paint on the base of steel, iron, alloy and
magnetic steel .
2) Eddy current method (N Probe)
Eddy Current (NFe): Measuring the thickness of Non-conductive
coating on non-magnetic metal substrate, such as rubber, plastic,
paint, oxide on the base of aluminum, copper, zinc, tin.
Method of Calibration
There are three kinds of the instrument to measure the calibration
method of use:Zero calibration, two point calibration, calibration
on sandblast surface.Two point calibration method is also a try and
two specimens.There is also a basic calibration for probe.It’s very
simple to calibrate the instrument.
