Description:

Qiaode utilizes calender rolls made of special chromium-plated steel, obtained from a single forged ”monoblock” completely machined, granting stiffness and a perfect dynamic balancing: the result is a higher stiffness of the rolls under process load.

Moreover the two operating rolls are designed with an outside diameter which is “almost” equal, and which always grants a similar rotation speed(r.p.m), avoiding spotted wearing phenomena. This configuration allows to avoid any dynamic unbalance and grants constant temperature on the whole steel roll (not higher than +/-1 °C on the whole working surface)i.e. a homogenous thermal exchange (thermal bonding effect) on both sides of the web. Therefore, also increasing the speed, there is always a balanced ratio and consequently a perfect mechanical stability. In addition “monoblock” roll shape grants easy maintenance and long life utilization.
