Introduction
Ion exchange refers to the reversible exchange between the
exchanger and the exchangeable ions in aqueous solution by using an
ion exchanger, resulting in improved water quality without
substantial changes in the structure of the ion exchanger.
Anion/cation ion exchanger refer to anion resin exchanger (anion
bed) and cation resin exchanger (cation bed) respectively. The
anion bed is usually filled with anionic resin, and the cation bed
is filled with cation resin. The cation bed can be divided into
hydrogen type and sodium type according to the agent used for resin
regeneration. The sodium type cation exchanger is called softener
or sodium ion exchanger
Ion exchange technology has a wide range of applications in the
field of water treatment. Such as water softening, water quality
desalination, high-purity water production, industrial wastewater
treatment, heavy metal and precious metal recovery, phenol
wastewater adsorption treatment, etc.
The ion exchange equipment produced by our company is usually in
the form of counter-current regeneration.
Application
1. For the preparation of pure water and high-purity water. It has
been widely used in many industrial fields such as medicine,
chemical industry, electronics, coating, beverage and medium and
high pressure boiler feed water.
2. Used in the pre-treatment of boilers, thermal power stations,
chemical industry, light industry, textiles, medicine, biology,
electronics, atomic energy and pure water treatment. Hard water
softening for industrial production needs, deionized water
preparation, and also used in food and medicine decolorization and
purification, recovery of precious metals and chemical raw
materials, treatment of electroplating wastewater, etc.
Equipment description
1. Two control modes of manual/automatic can be realized. The
triggering conditions of the automatic mode are liquid level, flow
rate, sodium ion value, silicon ion value, running time, etc.
2. There are many types of upper and lower water distributors,
which are designed according to specific operating conditions.
3. The type of resin, the number of filling species, and the
filling height are determined according to the water production
requirements, and the height of the filter cylinder is determined
according to the filter material conditions.
4. The value of the filtration rate needs to be determined
according to the water quality conditions and resin
characteristics.
