Plastic Residential Smart Water Meter, multi jet water meter,
ISO4064 Class B, R80
General description
The dry dial water meters use the multi-jet principle, also single
jet principle available for smaller port size. This vane wheel
water meter is known for its wide range, simple operation, and
accuracy in cold water or hot water totalization and flow rate
metering. The impeller is centered in a ring of jets, with inlet
jets on one level and outlet jets on another. A gear train drives
the register totalizer dials. For pulse output, one of the dials is
replaced by a gear, which turns a magnet that is detected by an
encapsulated sensor threaded into the outside of the lens. Pulse
rate is determined by the gear and the dial on which the gear is
placed. Changing the pulse rate requires no special tools and can
be done in the field.

- Water pressure: ≤1.0Mpa
Maximum Permissible Error:
(1) in the lower zone from qmin inclusive up to but excluding qt is
±5%
(2) in the upper zone from qt inclusive up to and including qs is
±2%
(3) Hot water meter ±3%

Installation
- The installation of water meter meets the installation requirements
of ISO4064-2:2005
- The caliber of water meter shall correspond with caliber of pipes
and the used flow rate is less than or close to the permanent
flowrate. The installation place should avoid exposure, flooding,
freeze and pollution, and convenient for installing, removing and
reading data.
- The water meter shall be installed horizontally (display surface is
upward).
- The sands and stones and other sundries in the pipelines shall be
cleared.
- The arrow on the water meter should be the same as the water flow
in the pipeline.
- If the water meter is installed on the inlet of the boiler, it is
better to install inverted valve on the outlet of water to prevent
the return current of hot water and steam will damage the water
meter.
