IEC60061-3 E5 Go And Not Go Gauge Screw Thread Lamp Cap Gauge

Gauge Name:

7006-25D-1 Go gauge for caps on finished lamps

PURPOSE:

To check the thread and dimension T min. of B5 caps on finished lamps.

TRSTING:

When the cap on a finished lamp fully acrewed into the gauge, the contact-making
shall be co-planar with or project beyond wurface S.
This gauge may also be used for checking unmounted caps.

7006-25E-1 Not go gauge for caps on finished lamps
Purpose:

To check the minimum outside (major) diameter of the screw thread, dimension d, of E5 caps on finished lamps.
Testing:

When the gauge is placed over the thread of the cap on a finished lamp, held cap uppermost, the centre contract shall not project beyond surface X. Only the weight of the gauge itself shall be used in the test.
