Carbide balls are mainly divided into tungsten-cobalt balls (YG6, YG6X, YG8, YG10, YG13). The numbers behind YG represent the cobalt content. For example, YG6 refers to the CO content of 6% and the remaining 94%. WC, there is another type of tungsten-nickel alloy ball (YN6, YN8, YN10, YN12), the same reason behind the number represents the nickel content. The former two alloy balls have a specific gravity of 14.6-15.1, there is also a class of alloy The ball is a titanium carbide ball with a lighter weight.
YG6 cemented carbide ball component: (also known as YG6 tungsten steel ball, YG6 tungsten alloy ball)
Applications: YG6 carbide balls are widely used in various hardware industries,
valves, bearings, die castings, punching parts, grinding, and
measurement.
Characteristics: The main component is tungsten-cobalt alloy
(WC-CO) with high hardness, HRA90-92, good wear resistance, and its
wear resistance is several times that of steel balls.
YG8 carbide ball composition: (also known as YG8 tungsten steel ball, YG8 tungsten alloy ball)
Applications: YG8 carbide balls are widely used in valves,
bearings, die castings, punching parts, grinding, measuring,
hardness testers, petroleum, chemical, aerospace.
Characteristics: The main component is tungsten-cobalt alloy (WC-CO), which has
high hardness and wear resistance. It has better toughness than YG6
alloy ball. It has good impact and vibration resistance and is
suitable for making zero with strong impact and vibration.

Compared with the ordinary hard alloy ball on the market, the
advantages are as follows:
a) high density, up to 15.1g / cm3, small porosity, super wear
resistance and corrosion resistance, longer life than ordinary
tungsten steel ball.
b) High precision, tolerance not exceeding 0.001MM, good finish, no
pitting, surface strengthened.
c) It can be produced in small batches, and the company can produce
at least 3 capsules and guarantee the production process of
ovality.
Production and test of Carbide Balls:
1)Carbide Balls will start to prepare the powder as per the customer’s requirement
with our wet-grinding machine
2) Before mass production, we need to do a trial pressing and sintering, and we check the
appearances and the sizes of the samples with a micrometer to
ensure that the requirements of the drawings can be met before
batch production
3) Bulk production, press the raw materials to shape blanks, and
carbide tips must be passed by semi-finished inspection.
4) sinter blanks to finish (HIP) and finished products inspection
to ensure the best quality and production capacity.
