E9000 Blade Server MM910 Management Module
The E9000 is a chassis product model developed by . It is a 12U chassis, which can house E9000 series compute nodes, storage nodes, and resource expansion nodes.
The E9000 has the following features and functions:
- Supports 8 full-width compute nodes or 16 half-width compute nodes for flexible slot configuration.
- Supports a compute node with 2 CPU sockets+24 DIMMs or 2 x (2 CPU sockets+8 DIMMs) child nodes in a half-width slot.
- Supports a compute node with 4 CPU sockets+48 DIMMs in a full-width slot.
- Supports a maximum computing density of 64 CPUs/1408 cores per chassis.
- Supports a maximum memory capacity of 24 TB per chassis.
- Supports a maximum switching capability (throughput) of 32 Tbit/s for midplanes.
- Provides four (two pairs of) switch modules, supporting Ethernet, FC, FCoE, and InfiniBand switching and I/O ports.
- Each chassis is configured with two management modules that work in active/standby mode. The two management modules support active/standby switchovers, hot swap, and protocols, including IPMI 2.0, SNMPv3, SNMPv1 Trap, SNMPv2c Trap, SNMPv3 Trap, SSL, SSH, SFTP, HTTPS, NTP, DNS, LDAP, and SMTP.
- An LCD is installed in the lower part of the chassis front panel, which is used to set the basic chassis information and monitor the status of the chassis and components within the chassis.
