The ZXSDR R8964 is a high-efficiency, high-power, large-capacity, dual-carrier 4-path TD-LTE Radio Remote Unit (RRU) launched by ZTE. By adopting the Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD), high-efficiency power amplification technology and Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology, the ZXSDR R8964 forms a complete eNodeB with a Base Band Unit (BBU) to provide macro coverage in target areas.

- High output power: Support 2.3G&2.6 (4x20W) , support 3.5G(4x15W@3400MHz-3600MHz) and 3.6G(4x10W@3600MHz-3700MHz), supports 2x2/4x4 MIMO and 4-antenna beamforming, satisfying coverage requirements in various scenarios as well as power requirements in large-capacity cases.
- Power saving and environment protection: allows various high-efficiency power amplification technologies including Crest Factor Reduction (CFR), DPD and Doherty; adopts natural heat dissipation without noise, saving 80% electricity as compared with the use of air-conditioners for heat dissipation, and in turn effectively reducing the costs in electricity for operators.
- High integration and flexible deployment: supports 4 paths, features a size of less than 17L and a weight of only 17 kg; supports various installation modes, facilitating site selection and rapid network construction; supports electrically adjustable antennas, facilitating network construction and maintenance.
- MIMO: supports 2x2 MIMO and 4x4 MIMO, greatly optimizing the spectral efficiency as compared with SISO and 2T4R, leading good user experience.
- Smooth upgrade: adopts ZTE’s unified SDR platform to support smooth upgrade and protect operator investments.
