Filling thickness: from 2.5 mm to 7.2 mm (standard thickness 4.8 mm)
Metal spiral wound gasket
Spiral Wound Gasket (Spiral Wound Gasket) is formed by overlapping
and continuous winding of metal tape and non-metal tape. The
strengthening ring can be selected according to the requirements of
the working conditions. It is also possible to change the material
combination of the gasket to solve the chemical corrosion problem
of various media on the gasket. And it has the characteristics of
excellent sealing ability, high temperature and high pressure
resistance, adaptability to ultra-low temperature or vacuum
conditions, corrosion resistance, easy installation, and low
requirements for the accuracy of the flange surface in contact with
the gasket. It is widely used in petrochemical, steel smelting,
electric power, water treatment, aviation, shipbuilding,
papermaking, pharmaceutical, general machinery supporting
industries.
The company can process various standard spiral wound gaskets, such
as GB, HG, SH, JB/T, ASME, DIN, API, JPI, JIS, etc. For some
non-standard products with special requirements, we will make them
according to your requirements. Design and manufacture.
A. Basic type
It is wound by metal belt and filler material, suitable for concave
and convex flanges, tongue and groove flanges and groove flanges.
B. Inner ring
On the basis of the basic model, a metal inner ring is added as a
pressure baffle, while filling the gap between the flange edge and
the inner edge of the seal. This design can prevent solid
accumulation, reduce fluid impact, and minimize the erosion of the
flange surface .
C. Outer ring type
Using the outer ring, the gasket can be accurately placed in the
center of the flange, and additional resistance is provided to
prevent the gasket from bursting, becoming a compression stop.
Generally applicable to flat and raised face flanges.
D. Inner and outer ring type
On the basis of the outer ring type, an inner ring is added as an
internal compression stop point, which at the same time becomes a
heat and corrosion resistance body to protect the gasket sealing
surface and prevent flange corrosion. Suitable for flat and raised
face flanges, especially suitable for high temperature and high
pressure working conditions.
*Special-shaped metal spiral wound gasket
Special-shaped metal spiral wound gasket
It is a gasket specially used to seal boiler holes, pores, valve
covers and other parts, and the working pressure can reach 2500PSI.
The operating temperature can be determined according to the
material of the metal belt and the filler. Because there is no
inner and outer ring reinforcement, the effect is particularly good
when used in L-shaped or U-shaped grooves.
