The Steel Wire Recovery Cylinder Wireline Fishing Tool
I Introduction.
The steel wire recovery cylinder is used to find and salvage single or multiple strands of wire that have been cut or broken.
II General Technical Parameters
O D | FN | Connection |
1.5" | 1.375" | 15/16UN |
1.875" | 1.75" | 15/16UN |
3"-T | 1.375" | 15/16UN |
III Structural features and use:
The steel wire recovery cylinder is composed of an outer cylinder,
a mandrel, a finder cylinder, a retaining ring, a taper sleeve, a
cone, an upper joint and an elastic cylindrical pin. The specific
structure is shown in the attached drawings.
The barrel of the finder is mainly used to determine the position
of the broken end of the wire and form it into a ball. The broken
steel wire clip is pulled up in the gap between the cone sleeve and
the cylinder body, and the contact surface of the cylinder body and
the cone sleeve is made into a tapered surface to facilitate the
tightening of the steel wire. The cone surface in front of the cone
sleeve plays a guiding role in the downhole process.
IV, matters needing attention:
1. Connect the steel wire recovery barrel to the bottom of the
basic tool string and go down the well;
2. When not in use temporarily, apply grease to the thread and
place it with wire protection.
