Construction
This machine comprises several components, including the Base,
Rack, Gland, Rollers, Bearings, Transmission device, Lubrication
device, Decelerator, Roller temperature adjustment device,
Emergency shutdown device, and brake rigging, among others.
Applicable mixing range:
refining food-grade silicone rubber, industrial silicone rubber,
solid silicone rubber, refining rubber types, natural rubber,
nitrile rubber (MBR), natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber
(SBR), reclaimed rubber, butyl rubber, natural rubber, ethylene
propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM), neoprene, general-purpose
rubber, polyurethane rubber (PUR),acrylate rubber.
(ACM), cis - butadiene rubber (BR), butyl rubber, polysulfide
rubber, silicone rubber, fluororubber, chlorosulfonated
polyethylene rubber.The open mill equipment can be used in conjunction with rubber and
silicone vulcanizing machine equipment according to product
requirements to vulcanize various rubber products and silicone
products.
Structure:
The main working parts are two hollow or drilled rollers rotating
inwards in opposite directions. The roller on the operator's side
is called the front roller, which can be moved horizontally back
and forth manually or electrically to adjust the roller gap to meet
the operational requirements. The rear roller is fixed and cannot
move back and forth. Generally, the two rollers are of the same
size and rotate relative to each other at different speeds. As the
rollers turn, the raw rubber or rubber compound is drawn into the
gap between the two rollers. Under the strong shearing action, the
purpose of plasticizing or mixing is achieved.The open mill is also
used in the plastic processing and other sectors.
The rollers are made of LTG - H safety chilled cast iron. Their
surface hardness is HS 68 - 75, and they have smooth surfaces
formed through grinding. The rollers are hollow inside. According
to usage requirements, steam or cooling water can be introduced to
adjust the temperature of the rollers. The two rollers rotate
relative to each other at different speeds, pulling the rubber
compound into the gap between the two rollers for mechanical
processing.
