What is Geogrid?
Geogrid has high strength, low creep and can adapt to all kinds of
environmental soil, which can fully meet the use of tall retaining
wall in high-grade highway.
It can effectively improve the interlocking and bite effect of the
reinforced bearing surface, greatly enhance the bearing capacity of
the foundation, effectively restrict the lateral displacement of
the soil, and enhance the stability of the foundation.
Compared with the traditional grid, it has the characteristics of
high strength, strong bearing capacity, corrosion resistance,
anti-aging, large friction coefficient, uniform holes, convenient
construction and long service life.
It is more suitable for deep-sea operation and embankment
reinforcement, and fundamentally solves the technical problems such
as low strength, poor corrosion resistance and short service life
caused by long-term seawater erosion of gabions made of other
materials.
It can effectively avoid construction damage caused by rolling and
damage by machines and tools during construction.

Applications:
Biaxial tensile plastic geogrid is applicable to the reinforcement of various dikes and subgrade, slope protection, tunnel wall reinforcement, permanent bearing foundation reinforcement of large airports, parking lots, docks and freight yards, etc. a. Bidirectional geogrid is used to increase the bearing capacity of subgrade and prolong the service life of subgrade. b. Bidirectional geogrid is used to prevent road (ground) surface collapse or crack, and keep the ground beautiful and tidy. c. The biaxial geogrid is used for convenient construction, saving time and labor, shortening the construction period and reducing the maintenance cost. d. Bidirectional geogrids are used to prevent cracks in culverts. e. Bidirectional geogrid is used to strengthen soil slope and prevent water and soil loss. f. Bidirectional geogrid is used to reduce the thickness of cushion and save cost. g. Bidirectional geogrid is used to support the stability of grass planting mesh pad on the slope and greening environment.
Construction method
The paving surface of the geogrid shall be relatively flat. After
the paving layer is accepted, in order to prevent longitudinal
deflection, first draw a white line or hang a line on the paving
layer according to the width, and then start paving, and then fix
the end of the grid with iron nails (8 nails per meter wide, fixed
at an even distance). After fixing the end of the grid, use the
paver to slowly clean the grid
Pull and pave forward. Manually tighten and straighten each 10m
long until one roll of grid is paved, and then pave the next roll.
The operation is the same as before. After paving one roll, use
6t-10t roller to roll it in the forward direction from the starting
point, (if it is paved on the middle surface course and leveling
course, it is better to use steel roller; if the grid is directly
paved on the concrete pavement, it is better to use rubber roller.)
Paving: take the roll length as the length of the section to be
paved. After the section to be paved with the grid is paved, check
the paving quality as a whole, and then pave the next section. When
the next section is paved, the grid and the grid can be overlapped
with a length of 10-15cm, fixed with iron nails or wooden wedges,
and then continue to pave the second section in the forward
direction, and so on. The operation requirements are the same as
before.
