The convection tunnel ovens are very common and offer indirect heat. This type of heating solution utilizes a combustion gas to air heat exchanger to circulate heated air throughout the baking chamber. This type of oven is most suitable for baking all kinds of biscuits and cookies and is especially effective during the last baking stage due to its effect on final moisture content.
PLC CONTROL SYSTEM
An OMRON PLC system is built into the control cabinet for the control of the oven.
Included in the PLC system is a graphic display (touch panel), which is mounted to the side of oven and shows a diagram of the oven with operating condition & failure messages.
AS standard the PLC controls:
Temperature in each individual zone
Baking time
Top/Bottom heat in each individual zone
Start/stop transfer conveyor
Alarm is released in case of following failures:
Belt motor overload
Burner falls out
Belt stop
Fan falls out
Temperature errors
The baking conveyor is out of tracking
Any emergency stop is pressed
