What is NiTiNol alloy.


We produce ni-ti alloy propducts nitinol allloy. Nitinol is a nickel-titanium alloy known for its shape memory and super elastic characteristics. Shap Memory refers to Nitinol's ability to undergo deformation at one temperature, then recover its original, under formed shape upon heating above its transformation temperature. Super elasticity occurs at a narrow temperature range just above its transformation temperature; in this case, no heating is necessary to cause the under formed shape to recover. The material exhibits enormous elasticity, some 10-30 times that of ordinary metal.

Superelastic Nitinol is commonly used in medical devices. Transformation temperatures for superelastic grades are between -20°C and 22°C [-4°F and 71.6°F].

Shape memory Nitinol is commonly used for actuators and other industrial applications. Transformation temperatures for shape memory grades are between 22°C and 80°C [71.6°F and 176°F], with some grades offering temperatures greater than 85°C [185°F].
