The Model 600VF mixer is a concentric flow type air valve
carburetor with a precision gas metering valve attached to the air
valve for applications requiring up to 960 CFM (453.1 L/s). The air
valve and gas valve motion is linear in relation to the volumetric
flow. The air/fuel ratio is controlled by the adjustable power
valve and the shape of the gas metering valve and the pressure from
the gas regulator.
Gas valve and jet combinations may be selected to meet various fuel
and burn strategies. The gas valves and jets are easily replaced to
provide performance as defined by each customer or meet specific
emission levels. Gas valves and jets can be ordered in matching
sets (see page 122). These units are designed for 14,000 MTBF (mean
time between failures). Advanced guide bushing material provides a
more durable solution over the standard 600 carburetor.
The 600 Varifuel Mixer is not available as an assembly, but it is
ordered in modular components to be assembled to the desired
configuration.
