Aluminum Triplex Conductor Underground Power Cable Construction:
- Complete Cable:
- 2 phase conductors and 1 neutral conductor insulated with Extruded Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
- Twisted cables form Triplex assembly
- Manufactured and tested in accordance with ANSI/ICEA Standard S-105-692
- When specified, cable produced in accordance with UL 854 and listed as Type USE-2 cable
- Conductors:
- Class B compressed aluminum 1350-H19 meeting requirements of ASTM B231 or B786
- Insulation:
- Insulation is Extruded Black Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
- 2 phase conductors are black; neutral conductor is black identified by 3 extruded yellow stripes.
