Why Epson 4720 head speed is faster than Dx5 in Dye Sublimation Printer?
1. Epson 4720 head has 8*400=3200 nozzles/Epson Dx5 head has
8*180=1440 nozzles
Nozzle is more, some time which can print more ink.
2. Printhead Ignition frequency: Epson 4720--16.7K, Epson
Dx5---14.4K
Printhead ignition frequency is single nozzle print times in one
second, ignition frequency is higher, print speed will faster.
3. Printhead nozzle dot: Epson 4720---3.8pl-6pl-12pl, Epson
dx5---3.5pl-6pl-12pl
Little dot can print some detail or smaller picture, which will
show best print qaulity, but if only use little dot print, print
speed will slow even ignition frequency is higher. So most people
will use 3 dots to print model, keep the print quality and let
print faster. In this condition, Dx5 and 4720 no much distance.
