Product Description:

Air is composed of 78% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen. PSA Nitrogen
generation technology works on the principle of air separation by
adsorbing Oxygen for getting Nitrogen.
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA Nitrogen) process comprises of 2
tanks filled with Carbon Molecular Sieves (CMS). (see image below).
Step 1: Adsorption
Pre filtered compressed air is passed through one CMS filled tank.
Oxygen is adsorbed by the CMS and nitrogen comes out as the product gas. After some time of
operation, the CMS inside this tank gets saturated with Oxygen and can no longer adsorb.
Step 2: Desorption
When the CMS is saturation in the one tank, the unit automatically
switches nitrogen generation to the other tank. The waste gas (oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) is discharged into
atmosphere.
Step 3: Renew
In order to regenerate the CMS in the tank, part of the Nitrogen
produced by the other tank is purged into this tank. This makes quick CMS regeneration and make it
available for produce nitrogen in the next cycle.
The above process cycle ensures continous supply of the Nitrogen.
