IEC 60529 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code) clause 13.4, figure 2, dust test for first characteristic number 5 and 6.
IEC 60598-1 Luminaires – Part 1: General requirements and test clause 9.2 test for ingress of dust, solid objects and moisture.
Standard description of IEC 60598-1:
Dust-proof luminaires (first characteristic IP number 5) shall be tested in a dust chamber similar to that shown iv figure 6, in which talcum powder for every cubic metre of its volume. The talcum powder used shall be able to pass through a square-meshed sieve whose nominal wire diameter is 50 μm and whose nominal free distance between wires is 75μm.
