LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CABLE APPLICATION
Low voltage electrical cables cover PVC, XLPE and PE insulated
armoured cables rated at 0.6/1kv to international Electrotechnical
Commission Publication IEC 60502-1 for use indoors, outdoors, in
cable ducts, for direct burial underground, where severe mechanical
stresses are present. These cables have high dielectric strength,
an excellent resistance to deformations under high temperature and
pressure, and high resistance to ageing, abrasion, moisture etc.

XLPE INSULATED LOW VOLTAGE CABLE FEATURES
1. The maximum conductor operating temperature: 90°C
During short circuit (lasting less than 5 seconds) the maximum
temperature of the cable conductor shall not be above 250°C
Environment temperature should be no lower than 0°C for laying the
cable.
2. Bending Radius of the Cable:
Single Core Cable: Non Armoured Cable 20D, Armoured Cable 15D
Cores Cable: Non Armoured Cable 15D, Armoured Cable 12D.
Remarks: D means practical external diameter of the cable
