Tray Sealers produce modified atmosphere packages (MAP) and vacuum skin packages (VSP) from preformed trays of almost any size or shape. They package fresh, refrigerated, retort or frozen food products at a full range of output rates. Ross MAP and VSP systems produce attractive, leak-proof, tamper-evident packages with greater seal integrity and extended shelf life. They are perfect for all types of sausage, meat, poultry, seafood, prepared food and cheese packaging.

What is an effective MAP machine?

1. The air must be drained:
It is usually visualized by the amount of residual oxygen, and 100% nitrogen is charged for residual oxygen analysis. If it can guarantee that the residual oxygen content of each batch is below 0.5%, it is an effective air-conditioning machine.

2. Accurate gas ratio: If red meat is 20% CO2+80% O2 for map, then the detected carbon dioxide should not exceed 18%~22%, otherwise the product stability can not be guaranteed.

3. Seal:The seal must be tight, and once there is a leak, there will be no effect of keeping the atmosphere fresh.

Application:

Semiautomatic Tray Vacuum Gas-flushing Packagin machine, apply to automatic film-sealing of the tray made of PP, PE material.
The vacuum gas-flushing packed tray (the products height must not exceed the tray height) can prolong the products shelf life while keeping the products to be fresh and preventing the products from moisture & mold, like the variety of fresh products, fast-food & students lunch food in the supermarkets.
