PCSC Contact IC Hybrid Smart Card Reader with RS232 Interface
Overview:
This is a smart card reader that combines the reading functions of
contact IC cards and contactless IC cards, and has an RS232
interface.
CSCP refers to Contactless Smart Card Protocol, which is a
communication protocol used between smart cards and contactless IC
cards. Both contact IC cards and contactless IC cards use this
protocol for communication.
The RS232 interface is a standard serial interface commonly used to
connect computers and other devices. The RS232 interface uses a
9-pin connector, of which 7 pins are used for data input and output
and 2 pins are used for the supply voltage.
The smart card reader has an RS232 interface, which can make it
easier to connect and operate when communicating with a computer or
other devices. The RS232 interface can also be used to control
various functions of the smart card reader, such as reading the ID
number of the smart card or reading the data in the smart card.
