Tip sharpness test aluminum foil
Standard requirements:
The surface of aluminum foil should be clean and smooth without
overlapping or serious fold, mildew and sand hole.
Aluminum foil is soft material with thickness of 0.05 mm ± 0.002 mm
and purity of no less than 99.5%.
The tensile strength of aluminum foil shall not be less than 3 kg /
mm2, and the elongation shall not be less than 3%.
Methods: suture puncture force test was used
The aluminum foil of appropriate size shall be clamped on the
aluminum foil clamp, and no obvious tensile or compressive force
shall be applied to the aluminum foil.
Clamp the suture needle on the needle clamp and press the control
switch. Through the transmission system, the suture needle is
vertically and gradually applied force on the aluminum chamber, and
the swing rod rotates accordingly. When the force applied to the
needle tip exceeds the strength of the aluminum foil, the needle
tip will pierce the aluminum foil and contact with the electrode,
and the instrument will stop applying force automatically. At this
time, the value indicated by the upper pointer of the swing rod (or
the value on the display instrument) is the needle piercing force
of the suture needle.
Press the work control button to reset the carrying rod and pointer
of the instrument.
Loosen the aluminum box clamp and move the aluminum foil in the
fixture so that the distance between the piercing holes is greater
than 3 letters of the suture needle diameter.
Repeat 1-4 steps, measure 3 times, and take the arithmetic mean
value, which is the puncture force of suture needle.
