Lockable Gas Spring

The lockable gas springs Nantai are so-called locking gas springs. They are used for functions such as adjustments with force assist, damping, as well as variable locking. Heavy flaps and lids can be moved easily and held safely in place.

Lockable gas springs feature a special piston/valve system which separates the two pressure chambers in the spring. If the valve is open, lockable gas spring provides force support and damping.
