Product Introduction:
Determination of the wear behavior of aviation turbine fuels on the
boundary lubricity of friction steel surfaces. Test principle: Put
the test sample into the test oil pool, keep the relative humidity
of the air in the pool at 10%, and fix a non-rotatable steel ball
in a vertically installed chuck so that it is facing an axially
installed steel ball. ring, and add the load. The test cylinder is
partially submerged in the oil bath and rotated at a fixed speed.
This maintains the cylinder in wet conditions and continuously
delivers the sample to the ball/ring interface. The diameter of the
wear scar produced on the test ball is a measure of the lubricity
of the specimen.
