Better Ways to Use Differential Pressure Transmitter for Liquid Level Measurement
1. Overview
Differential pressure transmitters measure the difference between two pressures.
This equipment will sense the difference in pressure, between two ports and produce an output signal, with reference to a calibrated pressure range.
The industrial differential pressure transmitters are made of two housings.
The pressure sensing element is housed in the bottom half, and the electronics are housed at the top half.
It will have two pressure ports marked as “High” and “Low”.
It is not compulsory that the high port will be always at high pressure and the low port always at low pressure.
This labeling has its relation to the effect of the port on the output signal.

Working temperature range of amplifier: -29~+93℃(LT Type: -25~+70℃)
Filling silicon oil measuring element: -40~+104℃
Filling high temperature oil with flange transmitter: +15~+315℃
Common silicon oil: -40~+149℃

The max static pressure is 4MPa, the min measuring range is 0-0.125~1.5KPa.
They can shift to a negative pressure transmitter.
