Field Of Use
Clay pebbles in peat matrix limit excessive water retention,
enhance drainage and increase air porosity, which is a necessary
factor for normal growth of roots and plants; moist but non humid
soil limits the formation of rotten roots and parasitic fungi. Clay
pebbles do not release any salt and do not change the pH of the
mixture because of its low buffering capacity.
The clay pebble is not yellow, not piled up, does not change or
decompose with time or humidity, beautiful and generous. The amount
of clay pebble mixed with peat or prepared peat matrix must be
selected by flower growers according to the irrigation times of
plants, peat and greenhouse. Generally 20% (1 clay pebble in every
4 peats) to 40% (2 clay pebbles in every 3 peats)
