I had no cover, and within three days from the UK to the US, I received a replacement product. The cup is double insulated and keeps it cool even with boiling hot tea. The glass is elegant but not fragile. It can handle high temperatures because it is made with the same type of glass in a chemical beaker (I checked it). I use it on a gas stove without problems and it is easy to clean; all parts fit together nicely and are easy to disassemble. Great prices for quality products and services. ---- By Ray
