To see whether the molding parameters of the machine affect the degumming of silica gel coating:

1. Curing time: the curing time is too short, resulting in no necessary cross-linking reaction between the silica gel and the plastic and hardware to be coated, resulting in degumming.

2. Molding temperature is too low: the principle is the same as above, which does not meet the reaction conditions between silica gel and plastic and hardware to be coated;

Then look at the influence of raw and auxiliary materials on whether silica gel is degummed:

1. The surface of the coated plastic and hardware parts did not receive the necessary primer treatment according to the specification. Due to the very stable physical properties of silica gel raw materials, it will not react with most of the materials, so the conventional molding process can not achieve the coating and bonding between silica gel, plastic and hardware. The surface of the coated plastic and hardware must be treated before the coating, and the typical treatment method is brush primer. The primer must be proportioned according to the requirements, evenly applied, and finished in the specified time. If any of the above 3 points is not completed according to the specification, it will lead to the degumming of silica gel coating.

2. The surface of the coated plastic and hardware parts was not cleaned. The dirt and oil on the surface will directly lead to the degumming of silica gel coating. Therefore, the surface of the coated plastic and hardware must be cleaned before the primer treatment. If the primer treatment has been completed, it must be well protected and properly stored to avoid pollution.

3. Silica gel raw material: if the content of vulcanizing agent in silica gel raw material is too little, or the vulcanizing agent is used incorrectly, or the raw material is not mixed evenly, or even the storage time of cut-out material is too long (more than 72h), it will lead to the degumming problem of silica gel coated products.
