medium voltage to high voltage; it consists of compact stranded
aluminum wire or stranded copper wire as bare conductor, with XLPE
insulation and metal shielding layer, PVC sheath or PE sheath Cover
to prevent corrosion.

1KV 33KV XLPE power cable structure
Conductor: Common annealed stranded compacted round copper or aluminum round
conductor in accordance with IEC60228 level 2
Conductor shielding: extruded semiconducting compound
Insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) rated temperature is 90°C
Insulation shielding: extruded semiconducting compound
Wire Mesh: Concentric layers of copper tape or copper wire
The color of the core wire logo: red, yellow, and blue tape should be pasted between the insulating
shielding layer and the metal shielding layer (the above logos can
be changed as needed);
Assembly: Stack the three shielded core wires together, if necessary, fill
with non-hygroscopic materials compatible with insulating
materials, and cover with a layer of PVC sheath
Inner sheath: PVC ST2 or PE extrusion layer, low smoke and halogen free
Armouring: three-core power cable with double wires of galvanized steel tape
or galvanized steel wire, double wires of single power cable with
aluminum foil or aluminum wire
Outer sheath: PVC type ST2, in line with IEC 60502 or PE, LSZH
XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) power cable has excellent
electrical and physical properties and is the best cable for
transmission and distribution lines. The advantages of these cables
are simple structure and light weight; in addition to excellent
electrical, thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance, they also
have the convenience of application. It can also be placed along
the route without being restricted by the level difference.
Used in power transmission and distribution systems of 35kV and
below. It can completely replace oil-impregnated paper-insulated
power cables, and can also partially replace polyvinyl
chloride-insulated power cables. It is widely used in power,
construction, mining, metallurgy, petrochemical, and communications
fields.
