Tungsten Carbide Rotary Burrs
We manufacture rotary burrs from a superior grade of carbide to
provide high stock removal rates and long life. Our comprehensive
range of shapes, sizes and fluting styles ensures we can offer a
tool that meets the most demanding application.
The difference between double slot and single slot:
The double groove has a cross pattern, which is suitable for
low-density objects. For example: used for wood, plastic, aluminum,
etc.! The cross pattern has a fast chip removal speed, and it is
not easy to block the pattern when grinding and engraving, so it is
more suitable to open a double groove on a soft object!
The texture of the single groove determines that it is not ideal to
use softer objects, because when the single groove knife is working
and cutting, the broken waste will easily block the groove,
resulting in shallower groove texture and reduced cutting ability;
this is what we often say, The knife is not fast! Single slot is
more suitable for iron, copper, steel and other hard objects.
Carbide rotary file features:
Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high
hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, and heat
resistance, especially its high hardness and wear resistance, which
remain basically unchanged even at a temperature of 500°C. It still
has high hardness at 1000°C.
Cemented carbide is widely used as tool materials, such as turning
tools, milling cutters, planers, drills, boring cutters, etc., for
cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, chemical fibers,
graphite, glass, stone and ordinary steel, and can also be used for
cutting resistant Hot steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel,
tool steel and other difficult-to-process materials.
1. High hardness (86~93HRA, equivalent to 69~81HRC);
2. Good hot hardness (up to 900~1000℃, keeping 60HRC);
3. Good abrasion resistance.
The cutting speed of cemented carbide tools is 4 to 7 times higher
than that of high-speed steel, and the tool life is 5 to 80 times
higher. Manufacturing molds, measuring tools, life span is 20-150
times longer than alloy tool steel. It can cut hard materials
around 50HRC.

Matters needing attention:
1. Mainly used on electric or pneumatic tools.
2. The speed is generally 6000-50000 rpm.
3. When using, the tool should be clamped upright, and the cutting
method should be up-cut milling to avoid reciprocating cutting.
4. To prevent chip splashing during work, please use protective
glasses.
