Hastelloy C-276 Tungsten-Containing Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy
Features:
The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in the oxidized and reduced state. Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is suitable for a wide range of chemical process industries that contain oxidizing and reducing media. Higher molybdenum, chromium content of the alloy can be resistant to chloride ion erosion, tungsten elements also further improve its corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 is one of only a few materials that can be resistant to moisture chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions that have significant resistance to high concentrations of chloride salts (such as chlorinated Iron and copper chloride).
