Description:
The Ball Mill (also named grinding ball) is key equipment for
grinding materials, for efficiently grinding various kinds of
materials into fine powder. They are generally used to grind
material which is 1/4 inch or smaller, down to a particle size of
20 to 75 microns. For the ball mills to be efficient, the grinding
has to be done in a closed system with the oversize material being
continuously recirculated into the cylindrical barrel for
reduction. Various classifiers such as screens, spiral classifiers,
cyclones and air classifiers are used for classifying the discharge
from ball mills.
Ball mills are widely used in powder-making production line such as
cement, silicate sand, new-type building material, refractory
material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous
metal, glass ceramics, etc. Ball mill can grind various ores and
materials with dry type or wet type. There are two kinds of ball
mills, grate type and overfall type due to different ways of
discharging material.
Working principle:
The machine consists of the main part of the feeding part, the
discharging part, the turning part, the transmission part (reducer,
small transmission gear, motor, electric control). The hollow shaft
is made of cast steel, the inner lining can be replaced, the rotary
large gear is processed by casting hobbing, and the barrel is
embedded with wear-resistant lining, which has good wear
resistance. The machine runs smoothly and works reliably. Note:
According to the material and the method of discharging, the dry
ball mill and the wet lattice ball mill can be selected.
This machine is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device, external
gear transmission, two warehouses, lattice ball mill. The material
is uniformly fed into the mill bin by the feeding device through
the hollow shaft of the feeding material. The bin has a step liner
or a corrugated liner, and the steel ball of different
specifications is built therein. The cylinder rotates to generate
centrifugal force, and the steel ball is brought to a certain
height and then falls. , causing heavy impact and grinding on the
material. After the material has been coarsely ground, it enters
the warehouse through a single-layer compartment board. The
warehouse is equipped with a flat lining plate with steel balls
inside to further grind the material. The powder is discharged
through the discharge raft to complete the grinding operation.
