The sealing surface of the raised face flange is flat, and the contact area with the gasket is large. After pre-tensioning, the gasket is easy to stretch or move to both sides, and the sealing performance is poor. It is only suitable for low pressure occasions. Concave-convex flanges and tongue-and-groove flanges have better sealing performance and are suitable for higher pressure occasions.

Judgment method: First, look at the height of the protrusion (protrusion), and second, look at whether there are anti-skid rings on the protrusion (convex surface).
