1TPH RO Pharmaceutical Water Purification System EDI Water Treatment Plant
RO & EDI of Pharmaceutical Water Purification System
RO(Reverse Osmosis), the basic working principle is : using of a
special high pressure pump, increasing pressure to raw water, then
force raw water penetrating through reverse osmosis membrane under
the pressure. Only water molecules and solvent less than microns
can pass through the RO membrane.
EDI (Electrodeionization) is a revolutionary water treatment
technology ,it is a membrane separation desalination technology
that skillfully combined the electrodialysis technology and ion
exchange technology together ,which is high-tech , green and
environmental protection technology. EDI plant has very high
requests to raw water, usually we use double stage RO system
production water as its raw water.
Main Process of Reverse Osmosis System with EDI System
Raw Water Pump | Provide the pressure to silica sand filter/active carbon filter; |
Quartz Sand Filter | Get rid of turbidity, suspended matter, organic matter, colloid, ect; |
Active Carbon Filter | Remove the color, free chloride, organic matter, harmful matter, ect; |
Softener or Antiscale Dosing System | Reduce the hardness of water |
Micron Filter | Prevent any deposition of large Particles, most of the bacteria, and viruses into the RO membrane, The accuracy is 5um, for holding back any large particulates such as large iron, dust, suspended matter, impurity; |
High Pressure Pump | Provide the high pressure to RO membrane; |
Two Stage RO System | RO system is the main part of pure water treatment plant. The RO membrane's desalt rate can reach as high as 99%, it is capable of removing over 99% of ions, bacteria, particles and 98% of impurity; |
EDI System | Make the electrical conductivity reduce to 0.1 m/cm by ion exchange; |
Electrical Control System | PLC, touch screen. |
Working Process of Pharmaceutical Water Purification Systm
raw water → raw water pressure pump → multi-media filter →
activated carbon filter → water softener → precision filter →
first-stage reverse osmosis → PH adjustment → intermediate water
tank → second-stage reverse osmosis (reverse osmosis membrane
surface with positive charge )→Purification water tank→Pure water
pump→UV sterilizer→Ozone generator→Microporous filter→Water point
