Arista QSFP-40G-XSR4 Compatible 40GbE QSFP+ MPO 400M MMF Optical Module

Top-Trans QSFP+-40G-XSR4 is a QSFP+ transceiver equivalent to Arista Network QSFP-40G-XSR4​ and compatible with Arista 7050X, 7300, 7170 Series Layer 2 & 3 Switches for IDC leaf and spine and HPC distribution. This XSR4 transceiver enables enterprise and service providers to extend the 40GbE LAN coverage over 400M and is ideal for the cloud transition.

Parameters

This QSFP+ module features the parallel Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable (QSFP) with four independent 850NM VCSEL transmitters and PIN receivers. This QSFP module creates the data link of 40GBASE-SR4 over a 300 meters OM3 multimode fiber (400 meters via OM4). This QSFP+ Module features an MPO/MTP^TM connector for the latest 8 cores new cabling system. This QSFP+ module is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3by, IEEE 802.3cc, SFF-8402, SFF-8472, 21CFP-1040 LC#50 7/2001. It features build-in DDM/DOM via the I2C Interface to monitor the operating status.

​This TQSFP+-40G-XSR4 uses a 12 core fibers OM3 OM4 MPO/MTP cable for direct connection

and an 8 core fibers MTP to 4 * LC breakout cable to interconnect the 10GBASE system
