Avago AFBR-725SMZ 25G SR is a Hot Pluggable Transceiver, designed for the use in 25GbE over 100M OM4 MMF Cable.

This module provides Enterprise Infrastructure with a smooth transition from 10G to 25G LAN and offers 2.5 times

more bandwidth to connect more devices and data traffic moving toward the cloud. Work with the existing 10G fibre

cabling system and accelerate the migration of 10G to 40G/100G for a High-speed network​

​This module enables 25GBASE-SR Ethernet to interconnect between servers, switches and NICs distanced less than 10KM within the Data Center in either Top of Rack(TOR), Middle of Rack(MOR) or End of Row (EOR) Configuration
