What is difference between PPGI and PPGL?
Galvanized steel, PPGI, is coated completely with zinc, while
Galvalume steel, PPGL, is coated with aluminum, zinc, and a small
amount of silicone. This provides superior corrosion resistance and
durability over the typical galvanized coating.

PPGL coils are widely used for making kitchen appliances such as

What material is PPGL?
PPGL stands for pre-painted galvalume steel, which is a kind of
color-coated steel with GL as substrate. It combines the strength
of steel with excellent anti-corrosion of Zn-Al coating. The
galvalume coating is made of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6%
silicon.
