What types of screen printing machines are there?
There are many types of screen printing machines, which are mainly
classified according to two classification methods:
1. Divided by printing method
(1) Flat screen printing machine: use a flat screen plate to print
on a flat substrate, generally a squeegee moves horizontally
against the printing plate, and the substrate is replaced by the
ups and downs of the printing plate.
(2) Curved screen printing machine: Use a flat screen plate to
print on a circular substrate, usually a squeegee is fixed, the
plate moves horizontally, and the substrate rotates at the same
linear speed as the plate.
(3) Rotary screen printing machine: using a cylindrical screen
plate, a wedge-shaped squeegee or a squeegee roller is installed
inside the cylinder, and the linear speed of the rotation of the
printing plate and the movement of the substrate is the same.
(4) Electrostatic screen printing machine: Using a stainless steel
screen plate with good conductivity, the static electricity between
the negative electrode plates drives the powder to pass through the
through-hole part of the printing plate and attach to the surface
of the substrate, which is pressureless printing. The shape of the
machine varies from substrate to substrate, but generally includes
a substrate input section, a printing section, an ink-fixing drying
section, and a substrate collection section. The printing part
consists of a screen printing plate, an electrode plate, and a
high-voltage generating device.
