Product Description of Edge Lit Acrylic Letters
Edge lit acrylic letters are made of high-quality acrylic and provide consistent illumination throughout the front face or edge side. The LEDs are protected by a clear acrylic sealing compound making letters suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
We can stick a mirror stainless steel on the face to provide a unique look with the ability to cast a mild halo illumination with flush mount installation.
Acrylic Edge Lit
Similar in construction to our standard lexan back halo lit letter. The edgelit difference is your ability to specify the thickness of illuminated visible acrylic edge. This construction technique produces a cleaner more isolated illumination. Perfect for highly reflective backgrounds like mirrors, glass and polished marble. This technique eliminates the possibility of seeing reflected hotspots.
Benefits of using edge lit channel letters:
- Control visible light by depth of acrylic
- No hot spot reflections
- Strokes as narrow as 2/5″(10mm)
