Characteristics:

1. Using the PDC cutters and spherical cutters. Both of theses cutters make the bit can drill faster, so they are applied for integral formation. While, the spherical cutters have strong impact resistant and not easy to be damaged. They are suitable for fractured and complex formation.

2. One cutter is respectively inset in each blade of both sides. The caster angle of the placing cutting is 15°. The cutters (model 1304) are comprehensively high-performance with strong aggressivity and high rate of penetration.

3. The bit breaks the rock rotarily in the effect of jumbolter's axial thrust and cutting force. The PDC cutters can also be classified as two types: full plate and half plate cutters. Extrusion and friction will generate between the cutter surface and the rocks with high rock-breaking efficiency and rate of penetration.
