PRINCIPLE
- Many organic compounds dissolved in water attract UV light. It is
therefore possible to measure the total amount of organic
contaminants in water by measuring the ultraviolet absorption of
these organics at a wavelength of 254nm.
- The DSC5001 series sensors use two light sources, one at 254nm UV
and one at 850nm IR, which enables automatic compensation for light
path degradation and turbidity effects, leading to more stable and
stable measurement values.
