Brief introduction:
TWG series empty / load equipment is applied for Chinese TB
standard air brake system for the purpose of adjusting the brake
cylinder pressure according to the different loading condition of
the freight wagons.
TWG series empty / load equipment is mainly composed of two parts:
T type adjust valve and WG type sensor. T type adjust valve is
connected in the pipelines from 120 valve or GK valve to brake
cylinder. WG type sensor is mounted on the bogie and its retaining
iron is fitted on the cross beam or side frame of the bogie. All
the other braking equipment like control valve, auxiliary air
cylinder, pressure reducing air chamber and brake cylinder are in
the same position as original brake system and no need to be
changed.

Main technical features:
(1) With a simple and reliable new weighing mechanism, the sensing
valve senses the change of the deflection of the pillow spring
during each braking and has a good follow-up to the vehicle
vibration. The contact rod retracts in the released state, greatly
reducing the wear and improving the service life.
(2) With strong versatility and adaptability, the original double
membrane plate structure is adopted, and the empty and load
pressure can be set in a large range according to the different
needs of the vehicle.
(3) It could be matched with the main brakes like 120 type and GK
type, and add the function of stepless automatic adjustment of
empty and load remaining the basic performance of the original
brake unchanged.
(4) The max. pressures of brake cylinder in empty and loaded
conditions could be set in a considerable range according to the
different tonnage, speed, the friction performance of high friction
synthetic brake shoes. It can adapt to cylinder sizes:φ 356m ×
254m, φ 254m ×254m .
(5) No matter in empty or loaded status, the device has obvious and
stable initial jump of brake cylinder pressure.
(6) Adopt hi-tech new structure, new material and new technologies
in the design of the device. Such as anti loose nut, polymer wear
resistant material, multi gases penetration surface treatment, etc.
