An oblong slot hole perforated sheet is a multipurpose sheet or coil punched for elongated holes with round or square ends. Related to the similar perforated sheets with another hole pattern, this one proves to be the best key to filtrate and sieve liquids and solids, such as water, wine, grain, and seeds, etc.

Slot perforations are also an industry standard design that is very useful in sorting and grading of solid objects, such as grains or minerals. Slots are available as round end or square end. Either option is available in three possible distributions (Side Stagger, End Stagger or Rectangular (straight lines)), each of which can affect the application
