Chlamydia trachomatis antigen test is single use, immunochromatographic screening test, which uses two different monoclonal antibodies for the detection of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) antigen extracted from Chlamydiae trachomatis. It has a high degree of sensitivity and specificity providing positive results that are supportive evidence of Chlamydia infection. This device can detect a minimum quantity of 105 bacteria/mL.
