Water Quality Testing
Testing for unusual colour, smell and/or taste of your water.
A changed appearance of water can be an indication of a change in
the quality. Often a certain change in colour, smell or taste can
give an indication of what may be causing this.
It is generally recommended to test the water regularly, especially
if it is used for consumption:
Although in most places, drinking water quality is very high when
it leaves the water supplier, contamination can also happen between
the water treatment facility and your tap (for example through
corrosion of metal pipes, contamination in storage tanks, problems
with plumbing).
If water comes from a private water supply or a water tank then

Instructions:
Please follow these instructions to ensure that you obtain proper results.
1. Collect water sample to be tested in a vial, cup or container.
2. Immerse the test strip in the desired water sample and remove within 1-2 seconds.
3. Hold the strip horizontally and gently tap or shake to remove excess water. Take extra precaution to ensure that the water from the test pads don’t bleed into each other.
4. Read the test results carefully within 60 seconds in a good light and with the test area held near the color chart on the bottle label. Changes in color that appear only along the edges of the test pads or after moving than 2 minutes have passed are of no significance.

Do not touch any areas of the test pad of the reagent strips.
Do NOT drink the water sample that the strip was immersed in.
Use strips before the expiry date.
Discard the water sample properly.
