Schedule 40 Stainless Steel Pipe is a category of stainless steel pipes used in piping of various applications.

There are various grades of stainless steel used to produce the sch40 pipes.
Nominal Pipe Size 12” sch 40 is a 12.75” OD round pipe with a . 406” wall thickness.
But, a standard (STD) schedule, or 40s, has a wall thickness of . 375”.
