1. PRODUCT PROFILE

Soft seated gate valves, in ductile iron GGG40 or GGG50 with flat body and EPDM covered wedge, are suitable for drinking water applications, being coated with epoxy powder painting, not toxic. This kind of gate valves are inside screw, with non rising stem in SS420, wedge EPDM vulcanized and sliding rails on the body. The soft seated gate valves are full bore, have no pressure drops, with the EPDM covered wedge that is not affected by corrosion and that doesn’t need any maintenance. In case of need, o-rings on the stem can be replaced with the valve in the pipeline and in complete open position. Soft seated gate valves in ductile iron can be installed above or under the ground level, or in chambers.

2. FEATURES

· Full bore design

· Because the valve stem is designed with three "O" ring seals. It can reduce the frictional resistance during switching, greatly reduce the leakage phenomenon and replace the sealing ring without stopping the water.

· Since the inside of the valve body is coated with non-toxic epoxy resin, the inner and outer surfaces of the gate valve are completely covered with rubber without rust water or corrosion, which can be used for raw drinks.

· The valve body is precision cast, and the precise geometry allows the valve to be sealed without any finishing in the north of the valve body.

· The body is made of ductile casting, and the weight is reduced by about 20% to 30% compared with the traditional gate valve, which is convenient for maintenance.

· Low operating torque

· Every valve be 100% tested and qualified before packing and delivery
