Product introduction
The flame spread tester is used to determine the lateral flame
spread performance of building products. The flame spread
performance/flame spread speed can evaluate the fire retardant
performance of materials.
The device measures the combustion of a material at a given radiant
heat level by radiating heat through a gas-fired radiation panel
and using an imported heat flow meter to calibrate the radiant heat
and ignite the specimen through a mixed gas burner; the sample is
exposed to a clearly defined radiant flux area and the ignition
time, flame spread and final extinguishing time are measured. The
test sample is placed in a vertical position, close to the
radiation panel, and exposed to a clearly defined area of radiation
flux. After ignition of the flame close to the test sample, but not
in contact with it, the development of the flame front is recorded
and the time taken for the flame front to burn horizontally on the
surface of the sample to reach each calibrated distance is
recorded. In turn, the material is tested for heat of ignition,
heat of continuous combustion, critical flow rate, average heat of
continuous combustion, total heat release and other related
parameters.

1. The box is made of stainless steel, beautiful and
corrosion-resistant; easy to clean; main frame: it consists of two
independent parts: the burner frame and the specimen support frame.
The two parts are connected by bolts, and there are bolts for
flexible mechanical adjustment.
